Breakfast Club is open from 8.00am until the start of the school day. Cost £3 per child per day. If your child is entitled to pupil premium, entry is funded by the school. Breakfast Club is located in the hall and the children enter through the community entrance. Please do not drop children at the school prior to 8am.
At 8.30am breakfast will stop being served and entry will close.
It is essential that you book a place as there are limited spaces. You can do this via MCAS. Breakfast club must be paid for in advance; this will secure your child’s space. Fees are not refundable unless agreed with the school in advance.
Wicklea Academy Breakfast Club has activities with a focus on play and social interaction. We ask the children at regular intervals for ideas on how to improve the club and the different activities that we could implement. We offer a wide variety of activities including:
As well as taking part in structured activities, the children also have the opportunity to just relax, chat with their friends and generally ‘chill’ ready for a busy day at school.
Our After School Club is run by an external provider – Munchkins Childcare. It runs from 3.30pm until 6pm daily.
On Monday – Thursday After School Club takes place at Wicklea. On a Friday it takes place at St Annes Infants.
