What’s on the menu?

Innovate has long been considered the most inventive school caterer and that’s because they’re very clear about their food. All their dishes are prepared every day using quality, fresh and seasonal ingredients that are responsibly sourced. As well as ensuring the food on the plate is healthy, they want their customers to understand the importance of eating the right foods and help them on their food and nutrition journey. Here’s a taste of what’s to come:

• A variety of healthy, tasty main meals prepared fresh every day from carefully selected ingredients. The menu will follow a similar weekly pattern, so you know what to expect, in addition to termly themed events.
• A salad bar bursting with flavour from traditional garden salads through to composite salads with a wide variety of grains, proteins, and dressings.
• Theme days: we’re travelling around the world! We’ll go to different regions each half term. There are also lots of individual special days and promotions that will run throughout the year!

Free school meals

Did you know that your child could be entitled to free school meals? For more information and details on how to claim, visit the Bristol City Council website.

Special diets and food allergens

Don’t think that your child can’t enjoy our great food if they have a special diet – they are an important part of our catering service. We can provide food if your child has an intolerance, an allergy, or requires an alternative choice due to their beliefs.

Legislation requires caterers to provide allergen information on food sold that is served ‘unpackaged’. Innovate already caters for many children with allergies and regularly checks supplier information for any ingredient changes. It is still important that our customers talk to us so we can work together and keep providing meals that are safe for all.
